Onward

At the Beach in Santa Barbara, California
with Scott

Jesus said, "When you make the two into one,
you will become children of humanity,
and when you say, "Mountain, move from here!", it will move."

-The Gospel of Thomas

When Scott and I met, we knew it was a spiritual union.

Not a marriage in the traditional sense.

A spiritual union.

We knew our path would unfold into travels and places where we would be of service to people and animals. It was a difficult path. We didn't have much in the way of finances or material possessions. We carried big hearts, willing spirits and a strong work ethic. We didn't know where the path would lead, we just knew "it was time for us to go" in search of it.

What I didn't know. Is that Scott and I would be traveling this journey separated physically.

And so here we are.

Onward. We go.

Me. Here. Scott. There.

Here, together, and apart on the journey to be of service and give back all that has been given to us.

I head to the Sonoma Valley to rest, walk, write and wait for the answer.

Pieces are starting to come together. Destinations are forming. Correspondence is being exchanged. Spring is around the corner and I will be on the road doing what we were meant to do.

Separated and Together.
